Utah Vacation '11

Here are some pics from our recent vacation to Utah. We got to be out there for 2 1/2 weeks. Saw some good friends and spent a lot of time with family. We are definitely glad to be back home though and sleep in our own beds. Can't wait to go visit again next year!

Hiatus

Seems like it was a while between posts...oops. :) I wish I could say that I'll be better about blogging, but one never knows. Here is a rundown of a few things that we've been up to recently. I stopped working in February. We spend lots of time outside working in our garden and taking walks. Ailey still likes the stroller for now, so we usually walk about 5 miles a day, weather permitting. Ailey just finished swim lessons before our vacation and will no longer lay on her back in the bathtub. Hopefully that is a short phase. And tomorrow she gets to start going to nursery. None too soon! We are planning a trip to Utah in August. That's about it, here's some pics.

Weese Family Reunion 2011

We just got back from our annual Weese Family Reunion. This year we traveled to New Mexico and most of the vacation was very hot. We were there visiting with family for 3 days and then spent another 3 days in Branson with my family. It was fun but we are glad to be home. Highlights from the trip... Car temp gauge reached 109. Ailey went miniature golfing for the first time and lasted about 4 holes. My dad played laser tag on his 60th bday for the first time. Went go-carting in Branson on a track that was 4 stories high. Got to go hiking.

Vacation #2 of the Summer

We are back from our 2nd vacation of the summer. Will's mom and his sister Heather's family all met us in Nauvoo to see the church sites. It was HOT!! But we still had a good time. I love that every time I go there is something different that I like the best. This trip it was the walk down Parley Street to the Mississippi. Anyway, we went to Nauvoo, Carthage, and then went to St. Louis. It was a quick 3 day trip but it was full of fun. We went to the arch and to the St. Louis Zoo while we were in town.
